Seven Seas Technologies - Business Development Manager (Business Applications) Job in Kenya

Due to our rapid expansion, we are seeking a results oriented, highly motivated and enthusiastic individual to fill the following vacant position:

Business Development Manager - Business Applications


Reporting to the Sales Director you will be responsible for creating and delivering the sales strategy for the business applications division.

Key responsibilities
  • Prepare the sales strategies for the business applications division in line with overall SST strategy;
  • Implement the sales strategies to ensure BA goals, objectives and targets;
  • Develop a solid funnel of opportunities for Business Applications (BA ) solutions to meet sales and profitability targets;
  • Develop plans to penetrate new markets for Business Applications solutions within Africa;
  • Provide leadership in response to customer proposals and tenders for solutions;
  • Ensure accurate and competitive pricing of proposals to ensure maximum profitability;
  • Make presentations and proposals for customer contracts and solution offerings; and
  • Negotiate contracts and integrate the requirements with BA operations.
Skills & Competencies
  • A Bachelor’s degree in IT ,Marketing, Sales or related field;
  • At least 8 (eight) years of successful business solutions sales experience;
  • In depth understanding business applications solutions; and
  • A Master’s degree in a relevant field will be an added advantage.
For the above position, you require to have proven experience at liaising, negotiating, influencing, presenting and working with key internal and external stakeholders.

You must demonstrate a track record of closing training deals, and you should possess strategic planning, budgeting, verbal and written communication skills.

You must also demonstrate ability to work in a highly driven environment, be results oriented and an innovative thinker.
